Genetic Testing

Quick update:

I heard from Cedar Sinai today and they got the results of one of the tests that were taken. The test was called a Microarray, it tested around a 1000 chromosomes to see if any had multiplied, split, etc.. The results came back negative.

Not sure how I feel about it yet. I mean it's good to know that all her chromosomes are in check, however, it also means that I don't yet know what is causing Faith's delays.

As soon as the remainder of the test results come in I will let everyone know the findings.

Not having an answer, a reason why, can be so difficult. I had been following your post on the board, when it was active, and my heart goes out to you. I also have been following your nephew's blog for months now. We are also in So. Cal.

That is awesome!!! Is she progressing at all?? Let me know on my blog. Maybe with thearapy she will start to catch up. Perhaps she is in mourning still and not attached yet. As she attaches she will be able to progress forward. They are connected. Don't loose hope!!! Have you gotten info on attachment? She could just need to become more attached. Also, have you looked into Sensory Intergration Dysfunction? I am asking these things as my older preemies had these things and they too were severely behind and now they are fine. Just some ideas, I am throwing out there. I will be praying for you as you search:) Angie
