When Faith was six months old we met her for the first time, little did we know that we'd met some forever friends. Below are pictures of Faith with her firends Ana and Joseph, Ariel and Mackenzie. The only one that's missing is her future husband Ryan. We will forever be grateful for all the love, support, and encouragement these little ones parents gave to us during the adoption process. They all will forever be in our hearts.

Tidbit-Wanna save money
Last night might husband came to me with our credit card bill. As he approached I was preparing how I was going to explain some of the unnecessary large shopping purchases. He began to point out a charge for $300+. I started racking my brain as to what and when I spent $300+ on an item. You know it's bad when you can't remember. The charge was for our Credit Card Protection Plan that we have been paying for since February, but since I do my bills online we never noticed the charge before.
So this morning I call the credit card company prepared to dispute this charge when they proceed to tell me that with this protection plan, if you have had a life changing event in the last 365 days they will pay your next to months minimum payments. Since my credit card bill is through the roof right now, that came as a blessing. The list that was read to me in regards to a life changing event was quit significant (buy an house, adoption, etc...). After my two months of payments are made(and they don't charge you the protection fee those months either) I can alter (change, cancel or leave the same)my protection plan as needed.
Anyways, hopefully that helps some of you.
Gotta love those tidbits, especially when it saves you money.

A Day in the life of a Riggio, specifically me
Wake up
answer phone
change diapers
breakfast for three kids
answer phone
clean up
breakfast for fourth kid (no she couldn't just eat with the rest of them, and I'm not referring to Faith)
change diapers
answer phone
Rex on lock down so I can think for a minute
brush teeth
change diapers
clean spilled juice
answer phone
sneak away for a minute on computer.
and that's all before 10:00. I could go on the rest of the day, but it pretty much consists of the same things. Actually I do take a shower sometime. Life here is crazy. If you want a quite moment, don't come here.
My Dad and stepmom founded a non-profit organization for Golden Retriever rescue (SCGRRESCUE). They get new dogs everyday needing a home. With the overwhelming response to the organization, they have more dogs than foster homes, so some how I got suckered into being a foster. We currently are fostering two 2 1/2 female goldens. They are such a beautiful pair and should be leaving for there new home sometime this week. Then Monday we will be getting another dog.
Not that I don't have enough stuff going on in my life.
Faith is doing well with therapy. It's a lot slower progress than I anticipated, but progress is progress. Jayme and I, amongst a few others think that Faiths delays may be from a genetic disorder. We are currently trying to find a Geneticist in Southern California to have some testing done. So if anyone has any suggestion, let me know.
Paris and Roc are starting camp on Wednesday. WOOOOO HOOOOO. (did I say that). Yes it's either camp for them or mental breakdown for me. Overall, I think the kids will have a great time and I'll get a bit of a break from the chaos that follows them.
One last note. I'd like to give a shout out to my brother-in-law who just got a scholarship offer to Stanford for Football. You go "G".
Time for a diaper change.
As Rex would say "Peace out"

FFF
Paris, Roc and Rex like to play in the pantry, pretending they have a restaurant. Well Rex thought it would be fun to play in the flour. There was not only flour all over the kids, but covering the floor and walls. It wasn't fun to clean up.

STATS are in
Today Faith had her 13 1/2 month check-up. Everything went well besides the screaming bloody murder during her two shots and TB test. She now weighs 16lbs 2.5oz and is 26 1/2 inches long. She doesn't make it on the charts quite yet. Although the size of a 6 month old, she is proportionate. Her head is a little on the large side at 10/15 percentile. The doctor didn't seem to show any concern. All I care about is that my peanut is eating, growing and progressing every day.

Let me start off by saying that today was a really nice day. There was no yelling at the kids, no sticky syrup on the floor, very little crying, both babies took a nap at the same time and this was all accomplished with 4 extra kids at the house. Both Paris and Roc had two friends over today, all at the same time. To most that would seem chaotic, but the play dates, believe it or not cut back on the kids usual fights and disagreements. Faith and I even got to enjoy my new hammock chair. As I am writing this my husband is getting me a sundae from Baskin Robbins. Yeah me!
We had a really good 4th of July weekend. We celebrated Poppy's birthday on Friday and went to a big birthday bash for my 3 year old nephew and brother-in-law on Saturday. Sunday was spent looking at a new RV (our current rv only sleeps 6 and we have 8 that's including our Nanny, can't leave home without her).
Ok I'm stumped. I was interrupted when posting and was on a roll at the time. Now I can't think. Maybe a little brain freeze from the Sundae. Check out the pics from our weekend.
Paris,Roc,Rex and Faith with their cousins celebrating the 4th
Poppy and his great-grandchildren, minus Faith
Faith loves to be swaddled, especially after a bath
Faith in her Theratog suit , look I'm sitting up. (She looks a little freaked out, dosen't she?)

Therapy,Therapy,Therapy
I need therapy too! We've been really busy over here. I thought Summer was suppose to be relaxing. Paris and Roc have been spending there days swimming in the pool while Rex swims in his kiddy pool, eating Popsicles, running around half naked trying to keep cool from the Summer heat. Meanwhile I've been fighting some kinda virus for the last week an a half and running Faith back and forth to therapy five times a week. I need a nap.
Faith is doing well with her therapy. Her PT now has her wearing what called a Theratog suit. It's suppose to help with her SID and PT. She doesn't seem to mind it. I'll post some pics later. She is holding her head up real well, rolling over, eating stage 2 baby foods and is very happy. I am very happy with her progress.
I wanted to ask everyone for there prayers. My husbands Grandfather lives with us, we call him Poppy. Poppy will be turning 84 years old on the 4th of July. His doctors found some cancer in his neck and they are afraid it has spread to his lymph nods. He will be going to UCLA next week to met with the doctor and see what will be done. Although he doesn't show it, we know he has got to be a little scared. I ask that you keep Poppy in your prayers as he starts this next battle to stay healthy.
